Tree Works - Stirling Civic Lawns

Contractors working on behalf of Council will be undertaking tree works within the main township of Stirling as per the following information:

WHEN:

Tuesday 31st January 2022, 7:30am – 4:00pm

WHERE:

Stirling Civic Lawns - Adjacent to Stirling Library entrance.

SCOPE OF WORKS:

Tree pruning to remove damaged sections of branching structure with multiple Pin Oak trees.

WHY:

  • Pruning works is required to remediate damages caused resulting from the November 2022 extreme weather event.
  • Tree pruning is required to maintain low levels of material risk to pedestrians and park users.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • Pedestrian traffic management controls will be implemented to ensure the safety of the public is maintained. These controls will include closure of Mount Barker Roads north-eastern pedestrian path directly underneath the trees.
