The pump bike track at Sherry Park in Mylor is set for a refresh, with maintenance works kicking off from Monday 4 May.

Crews will be carrying out a range of works to improve the condition of the track, including opening and cleaning out drainage pits, removing built-up sediment, and clearing away loose gravel and rubble. Protruding rocks will be dug out from berms and jump areas, with surfaces filled and compacted where needed.

Jump lips and landings will also be reshaped, with a focus on beginner and intermediate sections. Vegetation around the track will be cut back, including grasses and blackberries, to improve access and visibility.

While the works are underway, there may be some temporary disruptions or limited access to parts of the track. If you’re planning a ride, please take care around work areas and follow any signage in place.
