The Towards Community-Led Emergency Resilience (TCLER) Project, funded by Preparing Australian Communities (PAC), has supported the Community Resilience Team in working with the community, council, and key stakeholders over the past three years to strengthen local emergency resilience.
We would really appreciate hearing your thoughts about your engagement with the team and the project, as well as any reflections on behalf of others in the community who may have been involved or benefited.
Here is a snapshot of some of the community-focused programs, workshops, resources, and more that have been delivered:
Australian Red Cross RediCommunities Program
Australian Red Cross Community Support Hub workshops
Recovery Ready Halls grant program
Bushfire Mitigation Landscape Strategy
Adelaide Hills Community Action Bushfire Reference Network
Disability Inclusive Emergency Preparedness information workshops
CFS bushfire community education workshop collaboration
Community Exercising Events
Workshops for committees and community groups including First Aid, Psychological First Aid, Governance, Attracting and Engaging Volunteers
Resources include the Shared Responsibility in Fire Mitigation information document, Every Step Helps Everyone flyer, and the Community Support Hub Information Kit.
Your valuable feedback will be included in our final report, which reflects on the successes and learnings of the project and provides suggestions on which elements should be prioritised in future work.
We understand that finding the time and energy to provide detailed feedback can be challenging, but we would greatly appreciate any specific insights you are able to share.
