Draft Public Consultation Policy Review
Consultation has concluded
What are we doing?
We are updating our Public Consultation Policy and want your feedback.
In accordance with the Adelaide Hills Council Policy Review Schedule, our Public Consultation Policy (adopted September 2015) is currently under review.
What's the purpose?
The purpose of the updated Policy is to set out the steps that Council will follow in cases where it is required to conduct public consultation under the Local Government Act 1999 (SA). A draft of the reviewed Policy has been created and the public are now being invited to provide feedback. You can view a draft in the document library to the left of this site.
What else should you know?
This Pubic Consultation Policy Review only applies to those matters that must be consulted on as part of the Local Government Act 1999.
We are also working on a separate engagement framework and will engage you on this in early 2020. This engagement framework will outline how we engage you and how you can engage with us on a whole range of matters, from trees to playgrounds, bins to opening hours and much more.
