Consultation has concluded
It was great to see 50 people in attendance at the Montacute Community Forum who shared the many things happening in the community and the area. Also, ideas and concerns from the community were able to be raised and discussed with Council Elected Members and Staff. The Montacute Progress Association put on a fabulous supper enjoyed by all. A summary report of the evening can be found here.

6pm for a 6:30pm start to 8:30pm
Currently taking registrations and ideas / topics for presentation (see below)
Community Forums enable the Council, community and other organisations to work collaboratively on goals for the region. The objective of Council's forum is to improve engagement and communication by creating an opportunity for an open discussion about emerging issues for Council and the community.
Council values communicating directly with residents in their own back yard. The format is semi-structured, providing opportunities for presentations from local groups sharing achievements and ideas. Discussion tables to unpack key topical issues/aspirations in the community may also be considered.
Montacute Forum will open at 6pm with refreshments available in preparation for a 6.30pm official start. The evening will finish with a supper and opportunity to chat with council Elected Members and senior staff which is a great way to finish the forum which generally concludes by 8.30pm.
If you would like to attend the forum please register with our online form below by Thursday 26 May. We also invite you to suggest any topics/ideas you would like to see presented or discussed by Friday 20 May. If you represent a community group and would like to make a presentation, please feel very welcome to get in touch with Vanessa on (08) 8408 0421 or vgeerts@ahc.sa.gov.au . Alternatively, let us know with your registration details below by Friday 20 May.
We will also provide a summary of the forum here in our document library to share what the forum addressed, what was shared and what we heard after it has occurred.
