Update August 2022

Council would like to thank the 47 Respondents who provided their feedback to help us strengthen the draft plan!

Following the close of consultation on Friday 5 August, the S&H RPHP Working Group (with representatives from the six councils) considered all feedback provided by their communities and public health partners.

The Community Engagement Outcomes Report, is now available.

In response to the feedback received, the Working Group made some updates to the draft plan, which was then sent to SA’s Chief Public Health Officer (CPHO) for final consultation (this is a legislative requirement before the councils can adopt the plan for implementation). The Working Group is now awaiting the CPHO’s feedback.

Also available is an updated draft plan sent to the CPHO, with changes made as a result of public feedback.

What happens next?

The updated draft is currently with the CPHO for review. After considering any final input received from the CPHO, the final plan is scheduled for adoption by the six Councils at their September or October 2022 meetings.

It is anticipated that the Plan will come into operation by October 2022.
