Crafers Village Design Guidelines Endorsed by Council

At its meeting on the 15th December 2020 the Council endorsed the Crafers Village Design Guidelines, and this marked the final key milestone in the development of the Guidelines. With Council endorsement, the document is now 'live' and will influence built form and public realm investment within the Crafers Village into the future.

Community Engagement Summary

You may be interested in reviewing all the community engagement feedback we received during the project, and you can do this by clicking through to the document here: Community Engagement - Outcomes Report Stage I & II.

We are also currently putting together a short video that outlines the key changes to the Guidelines on account of the feedback provided during the second stage of community engagement (where we presented the draft Guidelines). We will circulate this to you directly via email for those who are subscribed and upload it here under the Videos tab for reference.

Next Steps

We will have some exciting news for you over the coming months regarding a project that will improve cycling and pedestrian connectivity around the main street. In addition, we are looking to secure funding for future pedestrian and open space upgrades. If you would like to stay updated on future projects please send us an email (if you are not already subscribed).

In addition, we would love to hear from those in the Crafers community who have ideas or would like to lead specific projects on the ground to help achieve positive change for Crafers in line with the Guidelines. Please contact us to discuss, our door is always open!

If you have any specific questions about the project and/or next steps please feel free to leave a question below and we will get back to you.
