Important information regarding closure of libraries and community centres
Following decisions and announcements from the Federal and State Government in the last 24 hours along with advice from peak health agencies, we have made the decision to suspend the majority of face–to-face interactions through our libraries and community centres effective Tuesday 24 March.
Book borrowing services are still available via a ‘click and collect’ service which can be done through the library website, or orders can be made over the phone for collection. We are looking to increase our home delivery service to assist those in need and library chutes are open 24 hours to allow returns.
For those customers requiring essential personal assistance to search for reading materials or who need to conduct other Council business, facilities will still be available at this time at Gumeracha, Woodside and Stirling as below (observing necessary social distancing recommendations).
We encourage you to call 08 8408 0400 for any enquiries which can be handled over the phone.
