Key Dates

The Council reserve off Burford Hill Road has been prepared for use as a project site staging area.  The site office will be located here, and the contractor will underate processing or vegetation.  The reserve has been cleared of dead wood from the Cudlee Creek fires and will be used as a parking area for user of the Amy Gillett.

Contractors will be establishing on site to commence works at either end of the Amy Gillett corridor.  These contractors will be removing vegetation to allow construction of the path to occur.  The contractor will also be removing dead vegetation or un-stable tress that may pose a risk to construction working and the ultimate users of the shared path.

Council has tendered out for the construction of the two new bridges required over Angas Creek and William Creek

Council has commenced construction works on the first 500m path extension from Oval Road, Mount Torrens.  These works will complete our first milestone requirement with our Federal Government funding partner and is tied to the payment of milestone 1 payment.

Council is finalizing the contracts with its preferred Bridge Construction contractor and expects on site works to commence in the near future.
