Making a Splash with the new Woodside Water Park!
Construction of the new splash park at the Woodside Pool is nearly completed with the community attraction set to open on Saturday 8 November 2025.
Construction has been underway since March 2025 with the project in partnership between Adelaide Hills Council, The Adelaide Hills War Memorial Swimming Centre and Water Features by Design.
The majority of the project’s funding has been attributed to the Australian Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program (LRCIP) under the Department for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications, Sports and the Arts.
The new splash park will be an exciting addition to our swimming centre and will include a dumper bucket, water cannons, cascading mushrooms, ground and arch sprays, including an interactive rock feature!
The works also coincided with an SAPN power supply upgrade on Nairne Road that occurred in May 2025, which involved the installation of a pole mounted transformer on a new pole and all associated civil work. The power supply upgrade ensured that the Adelaide Hills War Memorial Swimming Centre has sufficient power to run the new equipment.
We are dedicated to improving community facilities and look forward to the positive impact this new splash park will bring to residents. We can't wait to open this exciting attraction to our community in November 2025.
