Making a Splash with the new Woodside Water Park!
Construction of the new splash park at the Woodside Pool is now underway with the community attraction set to open in time for summer 2025.
This project is a partnership between the Adelaide Hills Council, The Adelaide Hills War Memorial Swimming Centre (Woodside Pool) and the Australian Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program. The new splash park will be an exciting addition to our swimming centre and will include a dumper bucket, water cannons, cascading mushrooms, ground and arch sprays, and a rock feature with a hand pump that directs water through weirs.
Construction is expected to be complete by the end of June (weather permitting) and the splash park will be ready for use when the pool reopens for the summer pool season in November 2025.
The works also coincide with an SAPN power supply upgrade that will be happening on Nairne Road in May, which involves the installation of a pole mounted transformer on a new pole and all associated civil work. The power supply upgrade will ensure that the Adelaide Hills War Memorial Swimming Centre has sufficient power to run the new equipment.
We are dedicated to improving community facilities and look forward to the positive impact this new splash park will bring to residents. We can't wait to open this exciting attraction to our community in November 2025.
