Thank you to everyone who provide feedback on the draft Community Land Management Lease for Upper Hermitage CFS Station during November 2024.
During the engagement period we received two feedback responses from community members who were in support of Council providing the Minister for Police, Emergency Services and Correctional Services with a lease for 21 years to use the Upper Hermitage CFS Site.
This lease is now with the Minister for Police, Emergency Services and Correctional Services for signing.
Adelaide Hills Council owns the land known as the Upper Hermitage CFS site on the corner of Range Road North and Warner Road, Upper Hermitage. This land is described as Allotment 5 in Filed Plan 218343 in Certificate of Title Volume 5854 Folio 841 and is addressed as 300 Range Road North, Upper Hermitage.
Council is currently proposing that a lease be granted to the Minister for Police, Emergency Services and Correctional Services over this Upper Hermitage site.

In accordance with Councils Public Consultation Policy, and as required by the Local Government Act 1999, Council is inviting submissions on the proposed Lease from any interested persons in the community.
Terms of the lease include:
Rental of $1.00 pa (plus GST) if demanded
Term of 21 years plus a 21-year renewal term option.
All taxes, insurance, electricity and maintenanceImage CFS Promotions Unit of the building to be borne by the Minister for Police, Emergency Services and Correctional Services.
