Strategic Plan: key themes and topics
Consultation has concluded
As we develop more structure and direction for the Strategic Plan 2016-2020, the priorities for the district have been grouped into four goal areas of Connect, Places, Prosper and Explore.
Within each goal a number of topics have been defined that will shape the strategies developed to deliver on each goal.
In developing these topics, we have drawn on not only your input from stage one of the consultation but we have gathered comprehensive feedback received throughout previous consultations over the past 18 months. The current strategic plan has also played an important part in identifying the topics.
Your feedback on the collection of topics is important in ensuring we are encompassing thinking that is critical for our future.
When you review the proposed topics consider any ideas or initiatives you have across any of the areas. For example, you might see it imperative that we offer support for children to develop skills in computer coding in the name of lifelong learning.
