Final Design Guidelines
The Final Stirling Village Design Guidelines document is now ready to read. Thanks to everyone involved in developing and contributing to the document. Take a look in the document library to the right of this page.
Engagement Summary
Thanks for previously participating in the Stirling Village Mainstreet Design Guidelines project. Your feedback has been collated as part of the ‘What We Heard’ Community Engagement Summary Report.
Following consideration to the feedback a refined and updated version of the Stirling Village Mainstreet Design Guidelines was circulated to community and stakeholders for comment.
Project Background
The iconic village character of Stirling’s main street and immediate surrounds is important. So we have initiated the Stirling Village Design Guidelines project. The project aims to develop a set of aspirational design guidelines.
These guidelines encourage development outcomes that strengthen the unique village character, allow businesses to thrive, improve movement and access along and through the main street and surrounds and create additional public spaces for community activities and outdoor dining.
The guidelines deliver an accessible design framework and design guidelines document that consists of a mix of written content, photos, graphic analysis, sketches and rendered images. This makes it easy for users to interpret design concepts and desired built form outcomes.
For more information please read the project Fact Sheet in the document folder (right of this page)
