An arborist report has confirmed that a prominent Manna Gum near the main street of Aldgate is showing structural flaws that make it a danger. This tree will be removed on Monday 27 September, with road detours in place during the works period.

Location: Corner of Euston and Mount Barker Roads, Aldgate
Date: Monday 27 September 2021
Time: 6:30am - 4:00pm
Traffic management:

  • During the works Euston Road will be closed to all vehicles and pedestrians.
  • Vehicles will be detoured along Pine Street and Cricklewood Road
  • Multiple bus stops will be closed along Euston Road during the works. Notices will be on impacted bus shelters in the lead up to this date.

The date has been selected to fall within the school holidays to limit disruption to bus services.
