Tree pruning — Strathalbyn Road, Aldgate
Council will be conducting routine pruning and removal of various large dead Stringybark trees along the verge of Strathalbyn Road, Aldgate to reduce the likelihood of any failure occurring over the road corridor or private infrastructure which could pose risks to people and property.
When Monday 1 – Wednesday 3 December, 9:00am – 4:00pm daily

Tree works will be undertaken at the following four sites — please refer to the aerial site map below
- 42 Strathalbyn Road, Aldgate
- 110 Strathalbyn Road, Aldgate
- 127 Strathalbyn Road, Aldgate
- 147 Strathalbyn Road, Aldgate
Traffic impacts
Traffic along Strathalbyn Road will be reduced to one lane at tree work sites where traffic flow will be controlled with stop / go traffic commands.
While these traffic restrictions will cause minor delays to traffic flow, they are necessary to ensure the safety of all pedestrians and road users and all attempts will be made to limit impacts to road users.
