South Eastern Freeway Pavement Rehabilitation: Bridgewater to Callington

The Department for Infrastructure and Transport (the Department) is undertaking major pavement rehabilitation works on the South Eastern Freeway between Bridgewater and Callington at the following locations:

  • Site A: Outbound lanes between Bridgewater Interchange and Hahndorf/Woodside/Birdwood Interchange;
  • Site B: Outbound lanes near the truck rest area towards Callington
  • Site C: Citybound lanes between Back Callington Road to Summit Road
  • Site D: Citybound lanes between Bald Hills Road, Mount Barker and Mount Barker Interchange

Times of works

Early works are scheduled to commence in early March 2022 and will take approximately one week to complete. Following this, major works will commence and are expected to be completed in mid 2022, weather permitting.

Major works will commence in Site B and will then move progressively to Site C, Site D and Site A.

Works will be undertaken at night, between the hours of 7pm and 6am, Sunday to Friday.
