Ayres Hill Road, Stirling - Tree Works

Traffic controls will be implemented on Ayres Hill Road, Stirling to safely complete tree works.

WHEN:

Thursday 22nd December 2022, 8:00am – 4:00pm

WHERE:

Site 1 – 28 Ayres Hill Road, between Laurel Road and Birch Road, Stirling.

Site 2 – 2 Birch Road, South-western corner of Ayres Hill Road and Birch Road intersection, Stirling.

WHAT:

Remove two structurally defected Eucalyptus obliqua - Messmate Stringy Bark trees.

WHY:

  • Tree removal of the western tree is required to reduce the likelihood of any falls over the road and power lines.
  • Tree removal of the eastern tree is required to manage road safety issues.

No alternative tree management options are available to manage the associated risks posed by these trees to people and property.

WHAT DO RESIDENTS NEED TO KNOW:

  • Speed restrictions including stop / go traffic commands will be in place.
