Greenhill Road Resurfacing Night Works - March 2026

What's happening

The Department of Infrastructure and Transport (the Department) are undertaking road resurfacing works on Greenhill Road to improve road safety and network reliability.

Early works, including service location, will be undertaken from Monday 16 March 2026 for approximately one week. Following early works resealing works will commence on Greenhill Road, between St Albans Drive and Greenhill Summit Track, Burnside.

Resurfacing works will commence at the intersection of Greenhill Road and St Albans Drive, Burnside, and will move progressively along Greenhill Road towards Greenhill.

How this might affect you

To ensure these works can be undertaken safely Greenhill Road, between Hallett Road and Quintin Avenue, will be closed to all traffic during work hours.

Access to properties will be maintained. If temporary property access restrictions be required, residents will be contacted directly by the Department project team and/or contractor in advance.

Outside of work hours Greenhill Road will reopen to traffic with speed restrictions in place until works are completed.

Please plan your trips, observe signage and follow the direction of onsite traffic controllers.

Some areas may have restricted access, please follow onsite signage for alternate routes.

When

Monday 16 March 2026 to mid-April 2026, weather permitting.

Sunday to Thursday 8pm to 5am.

Where

Greenhill Road between St Albans Drive to Greenhill Summit Track, Burnside.
