This consultation has now closed. Council received feedback from 2 Participants and presented a report to Council at their General Council Meeting on 28 June 2022.

A decision was made that: A report be prepared and submitted to the Minister for Planning seeking approval for the revocation of the community land classification of the land identified as: Closed Road AB in Road Plan No. 1573 contained in Certificate of Title Volume 6261 Folio 497 located at Norton Summit



Council proposes to revoke the community land classification of the closed road contained in Certificate of Title Volume 6261 Folio 497 to enable a portion of the land to be disposed of and to be purchased by the adjoining land owners.

The closed road is located in Norton Summit, adjacent to the property located at 105 Nicholls Road, Norton Summit.

The land is classified as Community Land under the Local Government Act 1999 and pursuant to the provisions of section 194 (2) of the Local Government Act 1999, Council invites submissions on the proposed revocation from interested persons.

The Consultation Report, including a map of the site and additional information is available to view in the document library to the right of this page.

A hardcopy of the report is also available to view in Adelaide Hills Council Service Centres in Stirling, Woodside and Gumeracha during opening hours.

Any person is entitled to object to the proposed revocation via a written submission. An objection must state whether the objector wishes to make a deputation to the Council in relation to the revocation process. The Council will give notification of a meeting at which the matter will be considered so the person making the deputation or a representative may attend, if so desired.
