In accordance with section 10 of the Roads (Opening & Closing) Act, 1991, Adelaide Hills Council proposes to make a Road Process Order to close and open a portion of the public road adjacent to the property located at 205 Pedare Park Road Woodside.
Council is seeking submissions on a proposal to realign the existing road reserve to rectify a boundary anomaly adjacent to the property. Council sough submissions for this proposal in November 2022 but due to a clerical error the consultation is now re-open for submissions.
The adjoining landowner approached Council to purchase the said portion of the road reserve, to rectify the existing encroachment on the road reserve, which would also result in a realignment of the formed road boundary.
The Consultation Report, including a map of the site and additional information is available to view in the document library to the right of this page.
A hardcopy of the report is also available to view in Adelaide Hills Council Service Centres in Stirling, Woodside and Gumeracha during opening hours.
Any person is entitled to object to the proposed road opening and closure via a written submission to Council. Any objection must set out the full name, address and details of the submission and must be fully supported by reasons. Where a submission is made, the Council will give notification of a meeting at which the matter will be considered.
