Proposed Minor Road Closures at Lobethal - Lobethal Road and Mill Road, Adelaide Hills Business and Tourism Centre (AHBTC)

Consultation has concluded
PLEASE NOTE: This consultation is now closed:
Adelaide Hills Council is proposing to close two very small portions of road at Lobethal.
This is necessary because three of the buildings within the Adelaide Hills Business and Tourism Centre (AHBTC) encroach very slightly onto Lobethal Road and Mill Road respectively. These buildings have been in place for many decades and were constructed by the then Onkaparinga Woollen Mill.
The proposed road closures will mean that these buildings will be entirely within the AHBTC site.
The boundary adjacent to Mill Road is also being altered to make a more manageable site, as the current boundary runs across a very steep embankment. There will be no change in the physical appearance of Lobethal Road, Mill Road or the AHBTC site as a result of these minor roadclosures and they will have no effect on either vehicle movements orpedestrians. By bringing these buildings entirely within the AHBTC site, it will facilitate Council’s adopted strategic management and divestment objectives.
The two small pieces of road to be closed and merged in with the AHBTC land are shown in the preliminary plan in the Documents Library. Satellite images of the relevant areas are also included in the Documents Library to give a visual impression of the affected areas.
Council would like to know if you have any objections to the proposal and why.
Please take time to provide your response below and include your comments.
Thank you
