Consultation has concluded
Adelaide Hills Council proposes to revoke the community land classification at the Lobethal Retirement Village located at 3 Jeffrey Street, Lobethal, contained in Certificate of Title Volume 6017 Folio 70.
The Subject Land is the only one of Council’s 6 retirement villages on the Council’s Community Land Register.
In 20 June 2000, Council resolved to initiate proceedings to allow land under Council's residential properties and aged accommodation to be removed from Council's Community Land Register. Subsequently Council has been advised to revoke the community land due to the incompatibility of the provisions of the Local Government Act 1999 and the Retirement Villages Act 2016.
