Consultation has concluded

The 2019 Lights of Lobethal festival is scheduled to take place between Sunday 8 and Sunday 29 December.

Adelaide Hills Council and the Lights of Lobethal Committee desire the declaration of a temporary dry area within the township to ensure the event remains ‘family friendly’ and to enable SA Police to proactively manage potential alcohol-related anti-social behaviour.

A temporary dry area has been in place for this event in recent years. It has been well received and is considered to have been a successful initiative. The dry area would be in effect between 7:00pm-7:00am every day from Sunday 8 to Sunday 29 December 2019. As this period is longer than 14 days, a consultation must occur with the public and relevant service providers.

A detailed map and description of the Dry Area is available in the document library.
