Update 12 August 2022
Thank you to everyone who provided feedback our team is now reviewing your comments and an update will be provided on this page in the coming weeks.
We are seeking feedback on a proposed dry area in Lobethal township to run between 7:00pm and 7:00am every night between Saturday 10 December 2022 and Sunday 1 January 2023. As this period is longer than 48 hours public consultation is required.
The declaration of this dry area is made annually, to ensure activities in Lobethal township remain 'family friendly' and to allow SA Police to proactively manage potential alcohol-related anti-social behaviour during this period. This dry area has been well received in recent years and is considered to be a successful initiative.
Please provide your feedback before 11:59pm Tuesday 9 August 2022.
A detailed map and description of the Dry Area is available in the document library (right hand side of this page)
