Kersbrook Play Space Upgrade
Consultation has concluded
Help us find the pieces that will make your ideal local play space.
We are planning to upgrade the Play Space at Kersbrook Soldiers Memorial Park and want your views.
This play space upgrade was identified in the Council’s 2019/20 Annual Business Plan and $120,000 has been allocated to undertake the works.
The Kersbrook play space is classified as a ‘Local’ Play Space. A ‘Local’ Play Space in the Adelaide Hills Council is:
- An area intended for local play, often equipment based
- Visited by people who live nearby, sometimes by foot, for a short period of time.
Approximately half of the $120,000 will need to cover landscaping and site preparation and the other half will be used for play space elements (equipment, seating, nature play elements and signage).
Not included in the project is lighting, bbqs, public toilets, parking and fencing.
We want all park users, including local residents, key community groups, local schools and child care centres to have their say.
Come and chat with our team at the Kersbrook Football Oval on 3 November from 11am - 1pm.
