Latest News

  • Art installation – the retaining wall at the hospital has been pressure cleaned in preparation for engaged artist Paul Herzich to install an aboriginal art piece along the entire length of the wall. Works are to commence in the next 2-3 weeks. Works will take approx. 5 days.
  • SA Power Network have engaged local contractor David Schwartz to deliver the undergrounding of power lines.
  • Council and SAPN are finalising designs including the placement of switch boxes and cable alignments.
  • Council’s consultant Tonkin are finalising the stormwater design for Albert Street.

Next Steps

  • SAPN will commence preliminary set out works in the next few days. Construction start is scheduled for early to mid-June
  • Council to finalise stormwater upgrade design and also tender for construction.
  • Council to prepare streetscape detailed design for tender for construction.
