What is the Day of Doing?

We partnered with Town Team Movement to run the Day of Doing across the Adelaide Hills. The Day of Doing was an invitation for people across the Adelaide Hills to step outside and do small things together that make their neighbourhood feel more welcoming, creative and alive.

These small acts might seem simple, but together they can shift how communities connect and contribute – from waiting for change to creating change together.

We put a call out to our community for applications to host a Day of Doing activity and over 40 Day of Doing ideas were supported by Town Team Movement with funding of up to $500.

You can view the map below to find out about the range of activities that were undertaken on or around the Day of Doing. You can also vote on your five favourite Day of Doing Activities by completing the 'Activity Voting' tool.

The day finished with a Celebration Event at the Lobethal Bierhaus where attendees heard about some of the fantastic activities that were achieved during the day.
