Volunteers, under the direction of a trained supervisor, can assist residential property owners with practical recovery tasks including removal of damaged fences, clearing and moving burnt vegetation into 'burn piles', general clearing or sorting of debris, tree-planting to replace lost vegetation and garden restoration.

Skip bins for fire affected residents for the removal of metal. Sims Metal are willing to waive freight charges associated with delivery and removal of skip bin and will pay the resident at the current rate for the collected metal.
