Regarding the tree guard recycling scheme, Arborgreen have an area behind their warehouse where they collect and store used corflute guards. If you have many, please advise and they can clear out a space ready for a trailer to back in.
Native Plant Giveaways:
Trees For Life are offering a discount for the current planting season (May-Sept 2021) to fire-affected landholders on bulk purchases of 10 bundles of tree guards and stakes which can be purchased for the price of 9 ($190 discount).
Planning ahead, Tree For Life is also offering a 50% discount on the price on tree guards and stakes up to 5 bundles (500) per property for bundles ordered through the 2021 Tree Scheme to receive April 2022. This discount also applies to seedlings. This subsidy is possible with funding support from the Wildlife Recovery Fund.

The expo will present a wide range of leading fire technologies, including a first-time look at Embarr, an innovative new technology developed in Adelaide to consistently monitor properties for bushfire and independently control sprinkler systems, even when un-attended.
Industry-leading fire safety businesses will present expert safety talks and equipment demonstrations with a focus on best practice disaster response preparation. Entry is by gold coin donation, with proceeds supporting the work of local CFS crews. 11am-4pm dailyWhile on site for this moving exhibition, you will also see the outdoor exhibition Stories of Lobethal Bushland Park, a series of works by students of Lobethal Primary School with artist Louise Flaherty. This display seeks to explore growth and regeneration, connecting the children to their environment, in particular Lobethal Bushland Park, which was burned in the Cudlee Creek Fire of 2019.
