Revocation of Community Land – Bridgewater Retirement Village

Consultation has concluded

Through a review of the Council’s Retirement Village portfolio, it has been identified that the Council-owned land at 511 Mt Barker Road Bridgewater, which forms part of the F H Todd Retirement Village, would be better placed in the ownership of an experienced retirement village operator to meet its current and future needs. Council proposes to dispose of the land to Clayton Church Homes Inc.

The property is described as Allotment 220 in Filed Plan No. 8131 comprised in Certificate of Title Volume 5488 Folio 788.

The land is classified as Community Land under the Local Government Act 1999 and pursuant to the provisions of section 194 of the Local Government Act 1999 (as amended), Council invites submissions on the proposed revocation from interested persons.

A hardcopy of the report is also available to view in Adelaide Hills Council Service Centres in Stirling, Woodside and Gumeracha during opening hours.
