Consultation has concluded
As part of the Annual Business Plan consultation, we want to know if you support investment in stage four works on the Amy Gillett Bikeway from Mount Torrens to Birdwood. Your feedback will guide Council’s support of the project and investment in the works, in partnership with the Department for Planning, Transport and Infrastructure and other funding bodies. It is envisaged that the total cost of stage four works would be $2.66 million, with ongoing maintenance expenditure of approximately $70,000 per annum (indexed). In addition, associated ongoing Capitalisation costs and Interest expenditure may be incurred.
If Stage 4 were to be completed, there would then be the potential for a future connection through to Mt Pleasant to be constructed, this fifth stage a further 8.8km (Costs to be determined).
