This consultation has now closed and no feedback was received.



As part of a land division at 29 Kumnick Street, Lobethal, a new private road will be established. The developer has proposed to name this private road 'Pear Tree Lane'.

Council can assign a name to a private road under Section 219 of the Local Government Act 1999.

Council's Public Place and Road Naming Policy considers suggestions including thematic names such as flora and fauna, which applies on this occasion. The development will include the establishment of ornamental pear trees supporting the name.

The community is welcome to have their say on the proposed name for this new road.
