This consultation has now closed. Council received feedback from 1 Participant and a report was presented to Council at the General Council Meeting on 28 June 2022.

The decision made was that a report be prepared and submitted to the Minister for Planning seeking approval for the revocation of the community land classification of the land identified as: Closed Road AA in Road Plan No. 2142 contained in Certificate of Title Volume 6261 Folio 496 located at Mount Torrens.



Council proposes to revoke the community land classification of the closed road contained in Certificate of Title Volume 6261 Folio 496 to enable a portion of the land to be disposed of and to be purchased by the adjoining land owners.

The closed road is located in Mount Torrens, contained within the property boundary of 114 Lenger Road, Mount Torrens.

The land is classified as Community Land under the Local Government Act 1999 and pursuant to the provisions of section 194 (2) of the Local Government Act 1999, Council invites submissions on the proposed revocation from interested persons.

The Consultation Report, including a map of the site, is available to view in the document library to the right of this page.

A hardcopy of the report is also available to view in Adelaide Hills Council Service Centres in Stirling, Woodside and Gumeracha during opening hours.

Any person is entitled to object to the proposed revocation via a written submission. An objection must state whether the objector wishes to make a deputation to the Council in relation to the revocation process. The Council will give notification of a meeting at which the matter will be considered so the person making the deputation or a representative may attend, if so desired.
