Proposed Renaming of Lenswood Recreation Park

This year, 2017, marks the centenary year of Adelaide Hills township Lenswood.

The Lenswood 100 group has made a request to undertake a review and discussion on the re-naming of Lenswood Recreation Park.

The re-naming request is to change the name to ‘Lenswood Centennial Park’, to coincide with and mark the centenary of Lenswood.

As the Park is a publically utilised space, it is appropriate that the Lenswood and wider communities have the opportunity to comment and decide in conjunction with the Council, as to the whether the name should be changed to ‘Lenswood Centennial Park’.

We value your input below and also encourage you to share your memories of growing up, playing, living and working in Lenswood. These anecdotes may be shared with the Lenswood 100 group to mark their centenary celebrations.
